The Clavinova sounds exactly like a piano (and like dozens of other instruments), thanks to Advanced Wave Modeling (AWM) synthesis. But it also feels like a piano, due to the careful attention to the Graded Hammer keyboard, which offers different amounts of resistance in the lower range, and less in the upper, just like a grand piano. These features are only two among dozens that make the experience of playing a Clavinova exactly like playing an acoustic piano, but unlike and acoustic piano, a Clavinova never goes out of tune.
